Deadpool Prose Novel Coming in August 2015

Marvel has just announced a Deadpool prose novel coming out in 2015 called Deadpool: PAWS. The book comes out 8/5/2015 and is written by Stefan Petrucha.

That’s right: In 2015, the Merc With a Mouth is conquering the world of prose fiction with DEADPOOL: PAWS, an all-new original story penned by novelist and comic-book writer Stefan Petrucha (Teen, Inc., X-Files).

Something is turning the city’s dogs into giant, bloodthirsty killing machines. And Deadpool is charged with taking care of business. Only thing is – Deadpool likes dogs. He doesn’t want to kill them. Now, people – that’s a different story. He can kill loads of people. At least the ones who deserve it. So what we’ve got here is a genuine character dilemma.

Possible Deadpool & Rocket Raccoon Team-Up in Guardians Team-Up

Marvel announced a new Guardians Team-Up series written by Brian Michael Bendis launching in February. In an interview with USA Today, editor Katie Kubert hinted at the possibility of a team-up between Deadpool and Rocket Raccoon.

"Branching out with fun ideas like Gamora and She-Hulk joining forces to make a 'Green Girls Kick (Butt)' team or the insanity of something like Rocket Raccoon and Deadpool gets me so excited it's almost more than I can bear."
