The posters above were spotted by several people this weekend in New York City, and appear to be teaser posters for the Deadpool movie. Chud.com has investigated and provided very strong evidence that these posters are actually fake.
They point out that Fox appears nowhere on the posters, even though they are the company producing the movie. In addition, the posters list an R rating for the movie, but movie ratings are determined after a movie is filmed. They also point out that given the current status of the movie, a 2011 release is very unlikely.
The most telling piece of evidence they provide is that the posters contain a url for a firm called Fine Line Kreative, which is known for creating several fake Marvel movie posters. Fine Line Kreative deals mainly in ads for local bars.
