EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Muchly enjoying DP's banter. Also hoping Outlaw shows up. Those two need to hook up for a night of fun and strip twister.

Benson is knocking this book out of the park. That's some funny ass shit! And I'm loving the art too. I LOVE ME SOME DEADPOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!

God, am I loving Suicide Kings. It's, easily, my favorite Deadpool story going on right now - which is saying a lot seeing as the main series has Bullseye in it, and I just love seeing a couple of my favorite characters together.

This one's got me, though - can't wait. And I agree. Outlaw NEEDS to do something else. I have my suspicions about what's going to happen, but I COULD be wrong. It happens... occasionally.

Kinda 'meh'. Nothing grand. It's discouraging though that he refers to the boxes as 'voices'. The humor is kinda funny.

The cover doesn't make any sense xD if the big hole is reflecting DD and the Punisher fighting, where is the bullet/rocket coming from?? =P

This is my favorite of the Deadpool stories too. And Way is NO WAY near as funny as Benson has been.

When it's complete, I hope this series is collected in a TPB. I'd like to pick one up to re-read the story and save my single issues the abuse.

can deadpool please kick franks ass now

DeadpooltheHun said...

Aye, franks getting fucking annoying, hes a cheap motherfucker

Daniel said...

@ DeadpooltheHun

...you are aware that Frank Castle is a down and dirty murdering sociopath with no sense of honor besides 'kill the guilty', right?

Fighting fair isn't *exactly* in his repertoire, and especially not with someone who heals and is as deadly as 'Pool.

If you had to fight someone like that, you wouldn't let them get any sorta lead either.

I want outlaw to appear and hook up with deadpool NAO!
And Punisher needs to get pwned by deadpool Nao aswell!

New rule. Every time you use lolcat speak, you get kicked in the jaw with a stick.

DeadpooltheHun said...

@ Daniel

Well I still want frank to get his Arse kicked.

Anonymous said...

yes i am aware thanks , i just think the fight has been slightly one sided , deadpool is one badass mo fo i just dont think frank could keep up is all

theaceofknaves said...

yea, Frank shouldn't be able to keep up with DP, no way. Especially hand to hand. But that's Bensons' bias coming through.

But it has been a well written story and has some nice art. I wonder if DP will kill off Tombstone? It's about time Wade actually killed off a marjor(ish) character.

Wasn't talking to you so much as I was theHun, but ok.

Either way, when you start off getting the drop on someone, especially someone as random as Deadpool, and stay on them, no room to come back, there's not much of a way to be a 'badass mo fo'.

As far as a bias goes, that's just part of writing. Period. There's no way Squirrel Girl is a Thanos defeating world saver.

There's no way Deadpool would last more than 2 seconds against Prestor John, and there's no way The Cat is still a relevant badass.

It's all in who's writing and the plot.

Hell, if we were talking about straight out logical fighting technique, Deadpool never would be able to take on the Avengers, Cable, etc etc.

There's always a bias, and there's always a plot to tell.

S'long as we're bitching though, there's no reason for Deadpool to go around saying "Chimichanga" and acting like a frat boy.

And yet, the writers had it go in that direction.

Ta da.

Wow. Now I know where the NERDS all get together.

Anonymous said...

logical fighting technique ?? deadpool has beat some of the best there is ,and cable with out his powers always gets beat by deadpool look at the very beginning of cable deadpool cable got beat sword through chest even ....as for the avengers , he fought a few at once and held his own. all i am saying is that punisher my be awsome , but he isnt a match for deadpool really

Please, try using your reading comprehension cap when you read this.

He beats some of the people based on who's writing him. Not based on skill and prowess.

Again, you're referencing WRITERS HAVING TAKEN ON VIEWS ON HIS FIGHTS. Not probabilities and everything.

Pay attention this time:

If you take Point A: Multiple Powered heroes who've taken down cosmic baddies like Thanos and the like

And point B: A single Merc with a Mouth RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM, bouncing about, he would get blown away to Hoboken.

Now, try to think this out, it's not about 'who WROTE WHO'S ASS HE KICKED', it's about statistics.

Now, back to Frank, Deadpool was ambushed, and outgunned with gadgets.

Deadpool is random yes, but Frank is a sociopath and has far superior training in weaponry and tactics than Deadpool. Hence, if he gets the drop on him, he will stomp on him and not let him get up.

Now, if you get back to who's WRITING the comic, something else entirely from was talking about, for the sake of the plot, Frank HAS to kick his ass.

Daniel's Chimichanga:
A new drinking game. Take a shot every time Daniel types "random for the sake of random" or "lowest common denominator". Bonus shots if he refers to Deadpool in women's clothing or describes the humor as being like "Jackass" or "Family Guy". Down the whole bottle if he tells someone to focus on reading comprehension.

Thanks Daniel, I'll be soused before lunch.

@Daniel

The thing about writers being bias to "their" characters? I think the same can be said for every single comic book character in creation.

But the fact is this. In a "in canon" storyline Deadpool has gone toe to toe with Iron Fist. In a "in canon" storyline Deadpool has taken on Cap, Hercules, Iron Fist and Goliath all at the same time. In many "in canon" storylines Deadpool has pissed all over Wolverine.

In a "in canon" storyline Frank wouldn't be able to just chop Deadpools arms off with ease and be about to strike the killing blow only to be thwarted by someone else.

I like Frank, but he isn't a martial artist to the level of Deadpool. He hasn't got a outragious healing factor. He wouldn't stand a chance, unless it was in a gun fight at distance.

Anonymous said...

I'd like to point out something- Deadpool not trying to kill the Punisher. If he was, then this would be a whole other ball game. Deadpool had him knocked out on the street and completely at his mercy, but he just walked away.

Anonymous said...

I never really thought about it that way. Perhaps Deadpool isn't trying his hardest in an attempt to not hurt the Punisher too much.

Anonymous said...

Yep. Plus, it was pretty clever of him to wait for Franky to get cocky and slip up. With his healing factor, he can afford to let his opponents whack him around a bit.
