Nice to see Deadpool is doing well. Looks like he does best in crossovers. Go figure.

If only marvel would realize it didn't sell out due to Way's writing...

Damn why's everyone so hard on Way. I appriciate him for bringing deadpool back. He must be doing something right cause before him it was have fun reading the 90's deadpool for the 100th time. Now he's in cross overs and mess load of comics side series and shit. Way isnt half bad : ) he's my nigga lol.

yah but I would like to have Joe Kelly instead. Most writters think that deadpool is just insanity and jokes.
while joe kelly portrayed a deep character.

Not saying that way is bad tought , just that I would prefer Joe Kelly.

Way is not the worst writer in the world, but I would much rather have someone better write Deadpool.

i also liked Joe Kelly, and dont forget Gail Simone she gave him depth aswell!

Nah, Way isn't the worst writer, I'm just saying, he's not the man for THIS job. At this point I'd rather have Fabian back and that's saying something.

Honestly, I'm enjoying the series as a whole and I still buy every issue.. But Daniel Way is not the writer for this job. He talks about how he does all this research for wolverine and just ad libs for deadpool and condenses it down. Wade can be a pretty serious guy too, if I recall he once got angry at his only two friends and locked them in a room full of broken glass and sharp objects just for being in his house.

I think Way has some good ideas, like trying to make Deadpool a bigger player in the greater Marvel Universe, but his exicution can be really hit or miss. The first three issues were really good, the "isn't that right Rob?" was one of my all time favorite Deadpool moments, but some of the others have been somewhat weak. #8 felt like nothing more than padding, rather than the beggining of a storyarc.

I agree that Way's writing isn't doing Deadpool justice, but why is everybody so down on Nicieza's work?

I loved Cable & Deadpool, and even though it devolved into silliness towards the end of the series, it had some really good explorations of the character: his need for belonging conflicting with his destructive tendencies, the question of just how much of his behavior is insanity and how much he just uses that insanity as an excuse to do what he wants... I thought Nicieza did an excellent job with it.

Sure, Kelly was better, but I'd put Nicieza on par with Simone. Way, on the other hand, is only one step up from Priest. I'll keep buying the book, but hoping that Marvel comes to their senses and puts Kelly back on it. Or even Kyle and Yost. They did a great job with Deadpool in just a few pages in the X-Force/Cable Messiah War prologue.

I'd say just give it some time. It'll get better

Again if we dont SEND LETTERS , then they wont Know!
I think its fair I mean we are paying for their product right? so at least they should give us what we want.

Way aint good at dp and in this very arc its proved! just check out thunderbolts and youll see how deadpool is so much better done than in he's own book by daniel way.

Dont take me wrong, way its good writter but there are just better ones for deadpool.
